I was initially daunted by the prospect of learning to kitesurf, especially as I had little to no experience with any other board sports. Romain and the entire team immediately put those worries to rest. Their friendly, fun, and highly organised approach gave me confidence from day one, and I genuinely loved every second of the experience. We chose five days of semi-private lessons, with four-hour sessions each day. It was the perfect balance of being social while still getting plenty of time on the kite. If you're lucky enough to have Max as your instructor, you're in great hands. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, trustworthy, and made every lesson enjoyable. Thanks to his excellent coaching, we progressed quickly. By the end of the five days, we were confidently water-starting downwind in both directions and riding consistently - an absolutely unreal feeling! If you're trying to decide which kitesurfing school to choose, don't look any further. You'll only miss out if you do. See you next year, Tarifa and Addict Kite School!

Je suis venu à Tarifa pour la première fois après en avoir beaucoup entendu parler. J'ai découvert cette école en faisant mes recherches et c'est tout simplement la meilleure à Tarifa. Durant tout mon séjour j'ai eu la chance de pouvoir tester toutes les conditions de vent et différents lieux, cela m'a fait énormément progresser 😄. Les moniteurs sont toujours à l'écoute et donnent de bons conseils pour la progression lors des cours. J'ai pu croiser toute l'équipe et elle est super accessible et ouverte, toujours à l'écoute pour nous donner des conseils. Le gros plus de l'école étant l'esprit de famille de l'école et le système de navette pour aller aux différents spots. J'ai pu faire des cours et de la location durant ma semaine pour un très bon prix. Je ne peux que recommander cette école sans hésitation 😉.

Great school, have been there once a while ago and decided to come back because it was a great experience. Great communication from the start of the booking process, transparency about conditions and wind and also fun teachers that make it enjoyable. Can recommend!

Très content des cours suivis pour une découverte à la pratique. L'équipe est pro et très bien organisée, avec de la bonne humeur qui motive tout le monde. Je recommande vivement sur Tarifa !

Ik wilde samen met mijn dochter leren kitesurfen in Spanje en zijn zo terecht gekomen bij Romain's kiteschool. We hebben vijf dagen begeleiding gehad van Fred. Leuke kerel met veel ervaring en vooral geduld. Had ook een goed gevoel voor humor. Mijn dochter vond het wat spannend, dus we hebben de tijd genomen. De laatste dag toch ons doel behaald om op het board te staan. Alle instructeurs waren professionals en erg enthousiast met een hart voor kitesurfen. Wij kunnen deze Addict dan ook zeker aanraden. Onze lessen zaten in een pakket met verblijf in een studio. Van alle gemakken voorzien en prima voor twee personen. Communicatie verliep goed en werden vooraf goed geïnstrueerd hoe we konden inchecken. Bedankt Romain en Marine maar vooral Fred voor deze fantastische week.

I had an amazing experience with Addict Kite School Tarifa. From the moment I arrived, everything was handled with care and attention to detail. The kite lessons were top-notch — professional, safe, and adapted to my level. The instructors really know what they’re doing and made the whole learning process both effective and fun. Sowohl die Kurse fürs kite surfen, als auch die Unterkunft waren sehr schön! Die Lehrer wissen genau was sie machen und die Ausrüstung ist sehr professionell. Zu empfehlen !

Phenomenal team! First ones on the beach, checking wind constantly and adapting accordingly, in my case for rental. Would definitely do it again with the team Romain, Marine and the rest of the team.

Amazing experience! The team was super friendly and the atmosphere at the school was so welcoming. Communication with Marine was always clear; she was consistently positive and helpful throughout the process. As for the lessons, Romain’s coaching was top-notch, I learned so much. Last but definitely not least, Tarifa is an incredible place for both kitesurfing and a vacation. Thank you guys, I can't wait to come back for more sessions!

Los instructores Remain y Louis fueron fantásticos. Es una escuela de kitesurf que se preocupa de verdad por ofrecer clases de calidad, sin obsesionarse con aprovechar cada minuto del reloj. Actuaron con mucha honestidad: cuando las condiciones del viento y la previsión no eran favorables, acordamos acortar la sesión porque no merecía la pena continuar, y compensarlo en otro momento. Ese gesto me pareció muy profesional. Mi amigo y yo hicimos una clase semiprivada y también destacamos la claridad de las explicaciones y la paciencia con la que enseñan. En definitiva, fue una experiencia muy satisfactoria que recomendaría sin dudarlo. 🌊

Romain y Louis han sido excelentes instructores. Es una escuela de kitesurf que realmente cuida la calidad de las clases y no está pendiente de contar cada minuto. Fueron muy honestos: cuando las condiciones y las previsiones no eran las adecuadas, decidimos juntos reducir el tiempo de la clase porque no valía la pena continuar, y luego añadir más tiempo en otra sesión. Aprecié mucho esa honestidad. Mi amigo y yo hicimos una clase semiprivada y también valoramos mucho la calidad de la enseñanza y la paciencia con la que explican. Sin duda, una experiencia muy positiva que recomendaría.

Smooth conversation since the very first email with Marine. Romain is a great team leader and Laszlo is such a fun and interesting instructor. 10/10 experience, highly recommended! We will come back once we are more advanced since Tarifa is a little challenging for beginners :)

This is the place if you’re looking for a safe, dedicated and helpful kitesurf school. First, a big thank you to Romain & Marine for your passion for the sport and enthusiasm for teaching kitesurfing. I had a great experience at your kitesurf school. From the day of booking to my last day, I was not short of anything. Romain & Marine helped me enormously with everything I needed. Marine is very friendly, provides daily updates, and is always available via WhatsApp for any questions. Romain has a great personality and ensured everything was in order so we could start our day with a smile, confidence and a sense of safety. I had some experience and was lucky to have Fred as my instructor. With patience and the occasional motivational talks, he helped me progress from barely being able to water-start to independently riding in two weeks. Thank you for your positivity and willingness to teach others to progress! I will gladly come back to Addict Kite School.

Superbe première expérience de kitesurf dans l'école de Romain et Marine ! Très bien organisé, staff très sympathique et pro qui s'y connaît. Tout le matériel est prêté, c'est vraiment pratique. Marine organise le planning au top et est très réactive par mail et WhatsApp. Romain et les autres profs sont très sympas et motivés à nous faire progresser (merci notamment à Romain et Adrien 😉). On a tellement aimé qu'on a prolongé les cours d'un jour 😎 on les recommande vivement !

Escuela de kite 100% recomendable! No sólo son muy buenos profesores de kite, si no que además te enseñan todas las herramientas necesarias para estar seguro en el agua, y poder salir de "cualquier" situación. A parte son grandes personas que te harán pasar una gran experiencia. Muy recomendable el curso privado si realmente quieres aprender.
